Ask and you shall receive.
If I'm ever opening a bar or club, I'll make sure I pray everyday so Jesus will visit me daily and turn all the water into alcohol.

evening in the kitchen
Was feeling rather down today. Actually the day was ok, somehow nearing the end of school day the feeling sank in again.
Skipped social psychology lecture and took BTC1 to Bukit Timah to get home. Had rojak! Then went to shop and save but couldn't get a thing. Went over the the HDB estates and wet market instead. Got some bananas, grated coconut and sago seeds. Gonna make some Chè Chuối!
Had 椰汁 too~! Miss HK snacks.
Gonna move on to sesame tang yuans after this. Shall try out coconut tang yuan too! That should keep me occupied until 10pm or so. A while after that dad should be home and he'll have 2 desserts to choose from!
Doing all I can to run away. Due what's gonna come will come and its about time I face it.

Philosophy and God!
Links posted by my lecturer as part of our readings on Euthyphro.
Check it out, my god has a 90% chance of existing. Perhaps that's because I'm not picky with his properties and just chose for him to exist for eternity.
Just hit the F5 key if the page doesn't load property after making your choices.

Best Job In The World
http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/afp_asiapacific/view/402286/1/.html
I really think it's best. Pays amazingly well and requires you to just have fun for 6 months.
Thanks Jin Hin for the referral. I've got no balls to apply for it though. Tak's forsaken me on this one.

Thank you SPLAT! for yet another self discovery moment
doing up my workshop preparation for the seminars later today. well it's half doing, and half redoing. I had all these plans to impart various skills and expose the kids to different subjects, but as I was putting everything down into words, I realised that this isn't what's important.
Like how I put to my parents while sharing with them my ideas, it's such sudden insights and realisations that has changed my life.
For a sneak preview:
As the saying goes, "Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime”—Author unknow"
That's so history. To be a successful trainer, there is more to this. I have identified a few levels of approaches that one can adopt. But for a workshop on personal mastery to JC students, what better way to prepare for this workshop than imagining myself attending my own workshop and looking out for what I want to hear?
Level 1 - Our teachers:
Drill into our head that this saying is bloody darn important by repeating it N+1 times. Well, yeah, so we remember that the man will starve tomorrow if you give him a fish today, but never knows why.
Level 2 - Some "leadership trainers"
Teaches you to fish and hope that you'll feed yourself tomorrow
Level 3 - Some "motivational trainers"
Tells you that he's going to teach you how to fish because this will let you feed yourself for a long time. May or may not actually teach your how to fish in the end, but makes you think that it's important to know how to fish by using funky techniques such as NLP and neat business suits.
Level 4+ ?
Helps you discover why it is important to know how to fish. Guides you through the process and lets your gain that insight the same way as I found out these truths as I aged. Refuses to teach you how to fish because he is confident that you have understood the importance of feeding yourself. Knows that you will know how to find food, be it fishing, hunting or simply calling Mac Delivery.
Hm, Personal Mastery. Master yourself.
Set yourself free, but at the same time, challenge yourself. Just for the kicks of it. I have my own beliefs and I'll be sharing with you. It's called Takism. But what I aim to achieve is not to convert all of you to Takists or Takians. I want you to have your own set of beliefs. Be yourself and believe in yourself. Be who you really are, be who you really can, be who you really want to be.
Just did some googling around and I realised no one used the phrase "If you're not part of the solution, don't be a part of the problem." The closest I've found was "Quit being part of the problem, be part of the solution". Well, something that I've said that really belongs to me I guess! Yeah I'm going to make everyone quote me and send them letters threatening to kick them out of school for plagarism if this phrase's used but no credit given.
